Are you ready for a new challenge? Then try Voltige at Horses of the Sun
All sports are challenging, some just a bit more than others. But challenges are there to be tackled, fears have to be conquered, new abilities have to be acquired, because the rewards are immeasurable. So, are you up to a demanding and challenging, highly athletic, yet safe sport??? Then try Voltige! You will not be disappointed. In Voltige, the voltigeurs learn gymnastic and acrobatic exercises on the horse. Aside from the obvious physical benefits, it also allows for mental and character development. Through exercise, education, and discipline, Voltige helps the youth of today to grow into the responsible adult of tomorrow. Parents can provide nothing of more lasting value in a recreational activity, than one which develops their child's full human and athletic potential. Voltige is truly a most comprehensive physical and creative activity! “Horses of the Sun”, a Voltige training centre located in the south-east end of Ottawa, offers recreational and competitive Voltige courses from the beginner to the advanced level, where students will progress safely at their own rate. Students master impressive and breath-taking exercises and routines. For gymnasts, Voltige opens up a completely new dimension by incorporating the living horse into the sport. Classes are on-going from March to October; with open start times. Throughout the summer, day-camps and intensive training courses are offered. Horses of the Sun also specializes in Classical Dressage and Therapeutic Riding.
